Again, no particular order-most were in a book I keep where I write them, but some were on scraps of paper for when I was in a car, etc. and heard one that I wanted to include. Hopefully there are no typos. Psalm 84:10-12 Better is one day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless. O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in You.

Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall I be afraid?

Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.

Proverbs 10:16 The earnings of the godly enhance their lives, but evil people squander their money on sin.

Proverbs 10:18 Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool.

Proverbs 15:1 A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.

Proverbs 14:4 Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest.

Proverbs 19:18 Discipline your children while there is hope. Otherwise you will ruin their lives.

Romans 5:3-5 (Your pain has a purpose.) But that’s not all! We gladly suffer, because we know that suffering helps us to endure. And endurance builds character, which gives us a hope that will never disappoint us. All of this happens because God has given us the Holy Spirit, who fills our hearts with His love.

Romans 12 9-10 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection , and take delight in honoring each other.

John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, He said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Isaiah 41:10-13 Don’t panic. I am with you. There is no need to fear I will give you strength. I will help you. I, your God, have a firm grip on you and I am not letting go.

 Jeremiah 32:27 I am the Lord, the God of all people. Nothing is too difficult for me.

Matthew 8:26-27 (Jesus calms our storms.) “Why are you so frightened?” Jesus answered. “What little faith you have!” Then He got up and ordered the winds and waves to stop, and there was a great calm. Everyone was amazed. “What kind of man is this?” they said, “Even the winds and the waves obey Him.”

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

James 1:2-3 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Exodus 14:14 (God will fight for you.) The Lord will fight for you, and all you have to do is keep still.

John 15:4 Remain in Me and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in Me.

Psalms 34:18 (God is near to broken hearts.) The Lord is there to rescue all who are discouraged and have given up hope.

Isaiah 41:10 (Wait on God.) Do not be afraid-I am with you! I will make you strong and help you; I will protect you and save you.

1 Peter 1:6-7 (Don’t give up.) On that day you will be glad, even if you have to go through many hard trials for awhile. Your faith will be like gold that has been tested in a fire. And these trials will prove that your faith is worth much more than gold that can be destroyed. They will show that you will be given praise and honor and glory when Jesus Christ returns.

Proverbs 10:9 He who walks with integrity walks securely.

Philippians 3:13-14 Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Jesus Christ, is calling us.

Romans 10:13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. 

Galatians 6:9 (Don’t give up.) So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.

Romans 5:8 (God loves you more than you know.) But God showed how much He loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6-6 TO PRAY IS TO LET GO AND LET GOD TAKE OVER.

Deuteronomy 6:5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Psalm 32:7 You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.

Isaiah 54:10 (God’s love never runs out.) The mountains and hills may crumble, but My love for you will never e3nd; I will keep forever My promise of peace.” So says the Lord who loves you.

Psalm 9:10 (Trust God.) Those who know You, Lord, will trust You; You do not abandon anyone who comes to You.

Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 We are pressured, but not crushed; perplexed, but not frustrated; persecuted but not abandoned. 

Philippians 4:19 And will all His abundant wealth through Christ Jesus, my God will supply all your needs.

1 John 5:14-15 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

Psalm 119:90 Your faithfulness continues through all generations; You established the earth, and it endures.

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

Psalm 121:3 He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber.

Matthew 1:23 They shall call His name “Immanuel,” which translated means “God with us.”

Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death, no more grief or crying or pain. The old things have disappeared.

Isaiah 9:6 And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

Psalm 23:42 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me.

Proverbs 22:120 drive out a scoffer, and strife will go out, and quarreling and abuse will cease.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord HImself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with Child and will call Him Immanuel.

Deuteronomy 33:3a The Lord loves His people and protects those who belong to Him.

John 14:2-3 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Revelation 7:17 And God will wipe every tear from their eyes.

Revelation 7:15-17 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Hebrews 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

Psalm 61:2 When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I.

Joshua 4:21-22 When your children ask their fathers in times to come, “What do these stones mean?” then you shall let your children know, “Israel passed over this Jordan on dry ground.” (When God caused the Jordan River to start flowing so they could cross on dry ground into the Promised Land.)

Proverbs 19:17 Caring for the poor is lending to the Lord, and you will be repaid.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Psalm 39:7 And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You. (Be hopeful.)
